Senior Full Stack Python Developer (FastAPI + React)

You will build modern web applications, design REST APIs, and integrate third-party telecom vendor APIs — including the Nexus middleware platform that connects with providers like Zayo, Colt, and others.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

  • • Build responsive UIs with React, Redux, and Tailwind
  • • Create dashboards, price comparison & quotation portals
  • • Implement search, filters, maps & location search
  • • Integrate frontend with backend REST APIs
  • • Handle authentication and session management

Backend Development

  • • Build scalable REST APIs using FastAPI & Python
  • • Implement auth, business logic, validation & logging
  • • Build middleware services and reusable API connectors
  • • Transform XML/JSON vendor responses to common formats

API Integration

  • • Integrate with telecom APIs (Zayo, Colt, Lumen, BT, Verizon)
  • • Implement REST, SOAP, OAuth, and Basic Authentication
  • • Handle XML/JSON parsing, retry logic & error handling
  • • Manage pagination, rate limits & timeouts

Middleware (Nexus Platform)

  • • Develop the Nexus Integration Platform
  • • Connect multiple vendor APIs with standard models
  • • Implement routing logic & secure credential management
  • • Maintain audit logs, caching & API health monitoring

Application Architecture

  • • Design scalable, loosely coupled enterprise applications

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of core and edge network infrastructure, primarily based on Juniper Networks (Junos OS).

Provisioning and troubleshooting of BGP sessions, MPLS services (L2VPN, L3VPN), and peering connections.

Configuration and maintenance of Datacenter network services, including redundant uplinks, VRFs, VLANs, and interconnections.

Monitoring, incident handling, and resolution of network tickets in a 24/7 environment.

Support in network expansions, upgrades, and project implementations in close cooperation with our European network engineering team.

Documentation of configurations, network topologies, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

Minimum 5 years of industry experience in ISP or Carrier Networks.

Technical Expertise

  • • Solid working knowledge of Junos OS and Juniper routing platforms (MX, EX, QFX series preferred)
  • • Good understanding and hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, and MPLS (L2VPN, L3VPN) services
  • • Familiarity with datacenter networking, redundant routing architectures, and carrier peering models
  • • Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques in operational environments

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the global carrier ecosystem, IXPs, and routing policies is highly desirable.

Communication & Collaboration

  • • Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • • Ability to work in collaborative remote teams across time zones
  • • Structured documentation skills and attention to detail
